Avantis Systems today attained Microsoft Certified Partner status having passed a set of stringent Microsoft competency and qualification tests. As part of Microsoft's verification of Avantis Systems' Network Infrastructure Solutions competency, Avantis provided numerous customer references of successful Local Authority deployments of its ContentCache and ContentCache Central solution.

Avantis appliances are based on Microsoft Server Operating Systems and offer better interoperability with Windows PCs, Servers and Active Directory than linux appliances.

On 1 October 2007, the avantisworld.com website was relaunched. Following new investment in the business, the website redesign encompassed an updated look and feel, new product pages, new shop pages, simplification of all processes, opening up of knowledge base and FAQ to unregistered users, improved online support, site-map, integration of new company details etc

ContentCache Central unleashes the power of Avantis ContentCache web caching appliances by providing a central management capability through which LEAs can deploy content to a multitude of schools with a single click.
