Welcome to Literacy Land, your own personal library of virtual recreations of scenes from some of the most iconic books, poems and fairy tales of all time.  

Take your students on a journey through some of the world’s best known authors and stories and let them walk through key locations in some of their most famous works. Walk the mysterious forests of a Midsummer Night’s Dream, see political satire first-hand on Animal Farm, climb Jack’s Beanstalk or meet The Raven – Literacy Land brings modern and classic works to life and allows students to experience them in a whole new way.

Our Classic Books zone reimagines how students engage with some of the most well-loved and commonly studied texts of all time. Visit the island from Golding’s ‘Lord of the Flies’, experience Big Brother in Orwell’s ‘1984’ or take a trip to Salinas Valley farm from Steinbeck’s ‘Of Mice and Men’, it’s all here in vivid detail.

Teaching poets corner in VR

Poets Corner

Wander lonely as a cloud through Poets Corner. From Poe’s Raven to Coleridge’s Ancient Mariner, this zone contains classic poems and sonnets, helping students explore feelings and immersing them in creative expressionism.
