Visit ‘Once upon a time’ whenever you like in the Early Years Zone.

Traditional tales have been told from generation to generation, becoming part of a community’s shared story. Learning about these tales is helpful in allowing younger learners to become familiar with story structure, and to develop an excitement for reading and a love of story time.

In this Zone you can explore the settings to many traditional tales, from climbing Jack’s beanstalk to joining Goldilocks in visiting the house of the Three Bears.

Explore Roald Dahl’s fantastical creation to see what happens to some of the children that were lucky enough to find one of Willy Wonka’s amazing ‘Golden Tickets’ when they visited the factory.
